Urban Youth Collaborative (UYC) is a non-profit organization that connects kids to the resources of the kingdom of God by linking churches to schools. We operateover 70 motivational lunch clubs at urban public schools in San Diego through partnerships with local churches. Our empowering program draws 2,300 junior and senior high students every week. By pointing to healing, hope, and transformation because of Jesus, we teach skills for this life and the next. All students are welcome to join us, regardless of background or perspective. Project 25 One way we empower students is through Project 25. Jesus shared the parable of the talents in Matthew 25 where faithful workers multiplied the money they were given. We have given 50 clubs across San Diego $100 to multiply in order to serve their schools. Here are videos of last year's La Costa Canyon High School's winning project and Millenial Tech Middle School's second place project. The 2013 Project 25 winners will be announced on May 24th.
